In this segment of Lady Mogul Talk, we speak with Chelylaina Fultz on her journey from wedding planner to HBCU clothing designer. Through her journey, you can learn what it means to pivot and follow your calling.
About Cheylaina:
Cheylaina Fultz may have been raised as a small-town girl, but she has always had big-city dreams with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for acting and media. Since 2012, she has planned weddings and events nationally and internationally. This led her to create The Cheylaina Fultz Talk Show, a podcast that shares stories of women who have overcome challenges and evolved into amazing entrepreneurs and powerful leaders.
In 2020, Cheylaina launched HBCU Legacy Fashion, a boutique of classic HBCU kids clothes that extends the legacy of HBCUs, and increases enrollment rates through her HBCU Legacy Scholarship fund (a nonprofit 501(c)3 that provides monetary support to minority students entering or already enrolled into a black college or university).
