From Pixels to Profits: Navigating the Business of Graphic Design

In this episode of Lady Mogul Talk, I had the pleasure of chatting with Jaylin Bolden, who shared her insights on creating a work-life balance. She emphasized the importance of setting boundaries, cultivating business habits, and how to prioritize business while making time for self-care. It was an inspiring conversation that will leave you feeling motivated and empowered.

About Jaylin

At just 24 years old, Jaylin has already achieved remarkable feats that have established her as a force in the business world. During her college years in New York at St. John’s University, Jaylin's thirst for knowledge and creativity led her to teach herself how to use Photoshop, sparking her passion for graphic design. Her talent and determination were evident when, at the age of 19, she opened her own graphic design studio in Washington, D.C.

In May 2021, Jaylin graduated from St. John's, having majored in Business Law. Despite her degree, she decided to forge her own path and dive straight into entrepreneurship, bypassing the traditional 9-5 job route. Her ambition and self-belief led her to achieve six-figure earnings in her very first year as an entrepreneur, setting a standard for her future endeavors.

In October 2021, Jaylin made a significant move to Atlanta, a decision that proved to be a game-changer for her business. The thriving city provided a ground for her entrepreneurial endeavors to flourish, propelling her to new heights.

Throughout her journey, Jaylin's expertise in graphic design and marketing attracted thousands of businesses seeking to kickstart their own marketing journey. Seeing the potential to inspire and educate others, she launched the Design Academy, offering aspiring creatives the opportunity to learn Photoshop and start their graphic design businesses.
